Tahitian Sun was founded in 2016 out of a growing need for nail polish that could be created by the client, and customized to their specific needs. At that time, the only nail polish options available to women were pre-made polishes from the grocery store shelves, a beauty supply store, or from an online web store. Women were limited to the supply and color on-hand with each of these options. 

In the Summer of 2016 a principal founder of Tahitian Sun had just purchased a dark pink summer outfit for an upcoming event and wanted her fingers and toes to match the outfit. In her mind she had envisioned a dark pink base color, with irredescent white tips. After searching (4) different stores for these two colors with no results it was clear something in the nail polish market needed to change. Afterall, we live in a world where options are endless today. Thus, Tahitian Sun was born to give women more of those options.

Tahitian Sun is founded on the principle of "If you can dream it, we can create it".
